At Surcos we have been working since 2005 accompanying teams, initiatives and processes in educational, social and pastoral fields. We advise projects and work processes, develop training proposals and generate printed or digital content.

    We are a group of professionals from different disciplines (educational, social, pastoral, editorial), united by the desire to offer quality contributions that add value to projects and processes. We advise and provide perspectives, ideas, and content development, with one horizon: strengthening capacities and facilitating new work dynamics.

    Our services are grouped into three main fields: accompanying processes (advising and strategic planning, project management, consulting), developing training proposals (research, training), and generating printed or digital content.

    It is time to promote everything that helps awaken positive changes in our ways of living and in the paths to know and transform reality. The great challenges require clear proposals that pave the way for experiences of solidarity, justice, development, and community organization.

Juan Pablo Gasme

Founder and Coordinator of Equipo Surcos

Juan Pablo Gasme is a Professor of Philosophy and Educational Sciences, specializing in Youth Ministry (Instituto Superior del Profesorado "Don Bosco" – CESBA, Almagro).

He has extensive experience in the educational and pastoral fields, in both formal and non-formal contexts, developing training, accompaniment, and management tasks from a pedagogical and pastoral perspective. He has served as a school catechist at different levels, youth ministry animator in schools, groups, and service experiences within the framework of the Claretian mission. In addition, he has participated in the production of educational and pastoral content, writing articles for Revista Vida Pastoral (Editorial San Pablo), collaborating in the creation of catechesis books (EDB) and training materials for Caritas volunteers.

Juan Pablo Gasme

He currently serves as:

  • Educator at the Instituto Superior del Profesorado Don Bosco (Almagro).

  • Founder and Coordinator of Equipo Surcos, focused on research, publications, and social, educational, and pastoral training.

  • Coordinator of the Institutional Development Area at Caritas Argentina.

  • Executive Director of the Fundación Educación y Misión, from where he accompanies twelve educational institutions of initial, primary, and secondary levels, and two higher education institutes.

  • Ad honorem President of the Caritas Internationalis Working Group for the strengthening of Parish Caritas (2025–2027 term).
